God has Promised, Scriptures of Comfort and Hope for Difficult Times

There has been a time in our lives where we’ve all faced valleys of uncertainty, fear, and doubt. While trials can test the strength of our faith, one thing that is certain is that God has promised He will always be there to carry us through any rough patches life throws our way.

To remind us of these promises, Roy has compiled a collection of Scripture that remind us of God’s grace and mercy in his new Booklet, God Has Promised: Scriptures of Comfort and Hope for Difficult Times.

A Note from Roy on the new booklet, God Has Promised:

When I was in my thirties, I walked through an unexpected and very difficult situation. Medical testing revealed I had a tumor in my lung that was in a very dangerous location. As a result, most of my left lung would need to be removed. During the time that preceded the surgery, I began an in-depth reading of the Psalms. It was through this time that the Holy Spirit spoke many words of comfort and hope that strengthened me and provided the reassurance of the Lord’s presence in the midst of it all.

It has been my desire for many years to publish these Scriptures as a collection, along with others that have helped me walk through other trials, so that they can be easily shared with others who are facing various difficulties in their own lives. God Has Promised is the fulfillment of that desire.

It is important to know what God has promised, so we can know what our hearts need to believe. These promises are arranged into 16 key topics that focus on specific needs in our lives. These include such topics as God’s grace, covering, comfort, care, help, peace, victory, strength, blessing, and hope. We pray that you will be blessed as you read God’s promises and feed upon them, believe in them, and receive them into your heart.
